One of the coolest things about living in Chicago is that I always feel like I’m in a different city when I venture out to different ‘hoods. Occasionally, I hear my fellow Chicagoans refer to Lincoln Park as being quite “pretentious and vanilla,” but that’s only because they don’t know where all the cool kids hang out! So exactly where are all these cool kids hanging out, you ask? They’re out rediscovering Lincoln Park thanks to Chicago Neighborhood Tours. I know you’re probably thinking that I should’ve come up with something better, but seriously, how awesome would it be to tell all of your friends about the abundance of hidden gems that Lincoln Park has to offer? New Leaf Theater and The Hideout are just a few that recently caught my eye. If all else fails, try another ‘hood and compare the two. At least you can brag about going on a mini vacation…
